Gemma Stirling

Gemma has been with Clear since the early days, joining after a stint at Manchester-based creative agency BJL. She’s grown with the business and built long-term relationships with clients that still stand today. Over the years, she’s gained a wealth of experience with household names like Hoover, Thomas Cook, Smooth Radio, Pets at Home, Millie’s Cookies, Going Places, Topps Tiles, and Baxi among many others. Gemma manages Clear’s Cheshire and Glasgow offices.

Elaine Cunningham
Board Director

Elaine has been in advertising for 30 years, with a C.V. that includes senior management roles at leading Midlands and Manchester agencies including J Walter Thompson. At Clear since 2005, Elaine’s been instrumental in the success of our long-standing clients like Topps Tiles and CALA Homes. Her wide-ranging expertise encompasses retail, pubs and hotels, telecoms, rail, energy and visitor attractions.

Martin Burrill
Finance Director

Martin is a Chartered Accountant specialising in the SME sector. Since Clear was founded in 2002, he’s been managing the agency’s financial affairs and making sure the back office runs smoothly. Martin also plays a key role in the formulation of business strategy, ensuring we always operate from a financially robust position.

Marie Mellon
Account Director

Marie has 20 years of account management experience under her belt, working with clients ranging from local authorities and NHS Trusts, through to destination retail centres and further education colleges. Marie is also well versed in media buying and planning, having begun her career in a full service agency as a production assistant, and going on to become a production and traffic manager.

Angela Robe
Commercial Manager

Angela has worked in the advertising world since 1997, but with a focus on finance and business development. She has overseen Clear’s growth since 2007, helping to forge strong working relationships with clients, partners and suppliers, and identify commercial opportunities for the agency.

Andrea Rowlands
Studio Manager

Andrea oversees, supports and manages the delivery of our design projects. She has been with Clear Marketing since the beginning and works across the agency’s portfolio. Andrea has directed artwork for household names like Baxi, Corus, DAF Trucks, Topps Tiles, Pets at Home, Regatta, Thomas Cook, Smooth Radio, Mercedes-Benz Direct, Brother, and many more.

Liz Aird
Studio Manager (Glasgow)

Liz heads up design at Clear Marketing’s Glasgow office, where she has been Studio Manager since 2015. Liz started her career at one of Scotland’s first ad agencies Rex Stewart, known for representing Scotland’s biggest brands, before going freelance. Her experience includes overseeing artwork for homebuilders Barratt Homes, travel agency Barrhead Travel, and St. Enoch and East Kilbride shopping centres.

Oli Weir
Account Director

As Account Director, Oliver drives the highest standard of output across the account team. With Clear since 2015, and previously at a design agency in Macclesfield, Oliver has worked with a broad range of brands, from high street retailers to house builders. He’s dedicated to helping Clear’s clients identify and meet their business needs to achieve continual brand growth.

John Coulson
Senior Account Manager

John brings expertise in the retail and F&B sectors to Clear, having spent seven years on the Aldi account at McCann Manchester. Working mainly on the stores team, he specialised in new store openings and all in-store POS. Now, John works on our long-standing CALA Homes account; they’ve trusted Clear with their communications since 2007.

Ailish Rossi
Account Executive

Ailish started her career working in the marketing department for a top law firm but switched to agency-side in 2019 when she joined Clear. Servicing CALA Homes, Ailish helps create results-driving social, outdoor, press, and print campaigns. She also boasts a 2:1 in Business and Public Relations from Liverpool John Moores University.

Owen Doherty
Account Executive

Owen joined the Clear Marketing team in after 2021, after completing a degree in Marketing and Management at Newcastle University. Owen gained valuable experience in the charity sector by undertaking a media and communications internship at Age UK North Tyneside. At Clear, he has continued his work in the charity and taken on the new challenge of housebuilding.

Martin Boustead
Senior Creative Artworker

Martin has an artworking career spanning more than 30 years. Specialising in packaging artwork, he’s designed packaging for gifts and toys ranges for Asda, Boots, Marks & Spencer, Primark and Tesco, as well as for MARS Petcare and confectionery FMCGs. Martin joined Clear in 2019, with previous experience at prestigious agencies including McCann Manchester and WRG Communications.

Lynn Magill

With Clear since 2013, Lynn has created designs for just about every type of client imaginable. These include BP Oil, The Famous Grouse, Macdonald Hotels, Direct Line Insurance, Persimmon Homes, and Scottish Rugby Union. Lynn also has extensive experience in the charity sector, working on accounts such as RNIB, RSPB, and SamH (Scottish Association for Mental Health).

Marina Wilkinson
Senior Account Manager

Marina began her marketing career in 2005 working in Pristina, Kosovo, for Publicis, and later on Ogilvy. Working as a Media Specialist and Account Handler, she worked on global accounts such as Henkel Cosmetics & Detergents, Beefeater Gin and Wrigley’s. Returning home in 2010, Marina started work as an Account Executive for Clear Marketing on the Cala Homes account. 12 years later she is now employed as a Senior Account Manager.
